Continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) show how food, exercise and sleep move your glucose, right on your phone. Compare what each costs to try and to keep going, what the app and support add, and what you need.
About these tests
Why measure glucose? Glucose is the sugar in your blood and a source of energy for your body. Tracking it can help you explore patterns around meals and activity.
How does it work? A small sensor on the back of your upper arm sends readings to an app. You replace the sensor roughly every two weeks. The options here use Abbott Lingo or Dexcom Stelo sensors; the app, included supply and support vary by offering.
This page covers over-the-counter CGMs, sold without a prescription. If you use insulin or have diagnosed diabetes, talk to your doctor about a prescription CGM instead.
