7 calculated

Total Cholesterol

The combined amount of cholesterol carried by the major blood lipoprotein groups.

Triglycerides

Fats circulating in the blood that store energy from food the body does not immediately use.

HDL Cholesterol (HDL-C)

The amount of cholesterol carried inside HDL particles in the blood.

LDL Cholesterol (LDL-C)

The amount of cholesterol carried inside LDL particles, rather than the number of particles.

Non-HDL Cholesterol (Non-HDL-C)Calc

Calculated by subtracting HDL cholesterol from total cholesterol, capturing cholesterol in the remaining particles.

Apolipoprotein B (ApoB)

A protein carried by certain cholesterol-carrying particles; its amount reflects their total number.

Glucose

The amount of glucose, the body's main circulating sugar and an energy source, in blood.

Sodium

A major electrolyte that helps regulate fluid balance and supports nerve and muscle function.

Potassium

An electrolyte needed for normal nerve signals, muscle contraction and heart function.

Chloride

Amount of chloride, one of the blood's major electrolytes, measured in serum or plasma.

Total Carbon Dioxide (CO2)

A blood chemistry result used to estimate bicarbonate when assessing the body's acid-base balance.

Total Testosterone

All testosterone circulating in blood, including protein-bound and unbound forms.

Free TestosteroneCalcMen only

The portion of testosterone circulating without being attached to blood proteins.

Calculated

Sex Hormone-Binding Globulin (SHBG)

A protein made mainly by the liver that carries testosterone, estradiol and other sex hormones in blood.

Estradiol (E2)

The main estrogen during the reproductive years, produced primarily by the ovaries.

Luteinizing Hormone (LH)Men only

A pituitary hormone involved in ovulation and sex-hormone production in the ovaries and testes.

Free TestosteroneWomen only

The portion of testosterone circulating without being attached to blood proteins.

ProgesteroneWomen only

A hormone produced after ovulation and during pregnancy, measured at a particular point in time.

Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH)Women only

A pituitary hormone that supports development of eggs in the ovaries and production of sperm.

Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH)

A pituitary hormone that signals the thyroid gland to produce thyroid hormones.

Free T4 (Free Thyroxine)

The unbound portion of T4 thyroid hormone available to tissues, commonly considered alongside TSH.

Free T3 (Free Triiodothyronine)

The portion of thyroid hormone T3 circulating unbound to blood proteins.

Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies (TPOAb)

Antibodies against an enzyme the thyroid uses to make thyroid hormones.

Total Bilirubin

The combined direct and indirect forms of bilirubin, a waste product from red-cell breakdown.

Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP)

An enzyme found especially in the liver, bile ducts and bones.

Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT)

A liver-cell enzyme that can enter the blood when those cells are damaged.

Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST)

An enzyme in the liver, muscles and other tissues that can enter blood when cells are damaged.

Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN)

Nitrogen from urea in blood, a waste product formed when the body breaks down protein.

Creatinine

A waste product from normal muscle activity that the kidneys mainly remove from blood.

BUN/Creatinine RatioCalc

A calculated comparison of blood urea nitrogen with creatinine from the same collection.

Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR)Calc

An estimate of kidney filtration calculated from blood markers such as creatinine or cystatin C.

White Blood Cell Count (WBC)

The total number of white blood cells in a given volume of blood.

Red Blood Cell Count (RBC)

The number of mature red blood cells in a given volume of blood.

Hemoglobin (Hgb)

The iron-containing protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen around the body.

Hematocrit (Hct)

The share of your blood volume occupied by red blood cells.

Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV)

The average size of your red blood cells, reported as their volume.

Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin (MCH)Calc

Calculated average amount of hemoglobin, the oxygen-carrying protein, in each red blood cell.

Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin Concentration (MCHC)Calc

The calculated average concentration of hemoglobin within packed red blood cells.

Red Cell Distribution Width (RDW)

How much red blood cells vary in size, rather than their average size.

Platelet Count

The number of platelets in a given volume of circulating blood.

Total Protein

The combined concentration of albumin and globulins, the main groups of blood proteins.

Albumin

A liver-made blood protein that helps retain fluid and transport other substances.

GlobulinCalc

Calculated amount of non-albumin blood proteins, found by subtracting albumin from total protein.

Reviews

What people praise

Doctors who take time to listen

Customers praise attentive clinicians who explain their findings, ask about symptoms and make the consultation feel like a conversation rather than a rushed review of numbers.

Testing and care in one place

Reviewers appreciate combining lab testing with an online clinician consultation, making the process easier to organize than coordinating separate appointments and follow-up on their own.

What people complain about

The ongoing cost can surprise

Some customers focus on the difference between an appealing initial test price and the continuing membership or treatment costs, saying the full commitment was not clear enough.

Slow replies when something goes wrong

Reviewers describe delays getting answers about cancellations, prescriptions or account changes, particularly frustrating when they are already paying for ongoing access to care.

Stories

Daltono

Repeat hormone testing helped guide treatment adjustments

Daltono's initial Hone testing showed low testosterone, and he began clinician-supervised treatment. Six months later, he reported better strength and energy, while repeat bloodwork also showed high estradiol that he and his clinician were still working to address.
