The portion of testosterone circulating without being attached to blood proteins.

Concentration

Progesterone

A hormone produced after ovulation and during pregnancy, measured at a particular point in time.

Sex Hormone-Binding Globulin (SHBG)

Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH)

A pituitary hormone that signals the thyroid gland to produce thyroid hormones.

Total T4 (Total Thyroxine)

The total amount of T4 thyroid hormone in blood, including both protein-bound and free portions.

Reverse T3 (Reverse Triiodothyronine)

Estimated capacity of the blood's transferrin protein to bind and carry iron.

Unsaturated Iron-Binding Capacity (UIBC)

The unused iron-binding capacity of transferrin, the protein that carries iron in blood.

Iron

Iron circulating in blood at collection, mostly attached to the transport protein transferrin.

Transferrin Saturation (TSAT)Calc

Percentage of iron-binding sites occupied, usually calculated from blood iron and total iron-binding capacity.

Vitamin D (25-hydroxy)

The main circulating form of vitamin D, reflecting vitamin D from sunlight, food and supplements.

Stories

Dean Kakridas

Finding risks that his workout routine did not reveal

Despite regular exercise, Dean’s Humanaut assessment showed elevated blood sugar and visceral fat. He used the care plan to change his training and daily habits, and reported better energy and focus during his first three months. His next blood draw was still ahead.
