VLDL Cholesterol (VLDL-C)Calc
Cholesterol attributed to VLDL particles, estimated or measured depending on the laboratory method.
LDL-C/HDL-C RatioCalc
Calculated comparison of LDL cholesterol to HDL cholesterol, using amounts in the same units.
LDL-C to ApoB RatioCalc
A calculated comparison of LDL cholesterol and ApoB, not a direct measurement of LDL particle size.
ApoB/ApoA1 RatioCalc
Calculated comparison of ApoB and ApoA1 protein amounts, rather than a literal particle-count ratio.
LDL Cholesterol (LDL-C)Calc
The amount of cholesterol carried inside LDL particles, rather than the number of particles.
Lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)]
The amount of Lp(a), a cholesterol-carrying particle whose concentration is largely inherited.
Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c)
Percentage of hemoglobin with sugar attached, reflecting average blood sugar over roughly two to three months.

Free TestosteroneCalcMen only
The portion of testosterone circulating without being attached to blood proteins.
Concentration · Calculated
Cortisol
An adrenal hormone involved in stress response, metabolism, blood pressure and inflammation.
Testosterone to Cortisol RatioCalc
A calculated comparison of testosterone and cortisol concentrations, whose numerical scale depends on the units.
Cortisol to DHEA-S RatioCalc
Calculated comparison of cortisol and DHEA-S, two adrenal hormones whose levels change differently.
Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH)Women only
A pituitary hormone that supports development of eggs in the ovaries and production of sperm.
Estradiol (E2)Women only
The main estrogen during the reproductive years, produced primarily by the ovaries.
Luteinizing Hormone (LH)Women only
A pituitary hormone involved in ovulation and sex-hormone production in the ovaries and testes.
LH to FSH RatioCalcWomen only
A calculated comparison of two reproductive hormones, LH and FSH, from the same collection.
Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH)
A pituitary hormone that signals the thyroid gland to produce thyroid hormones.
Vitamin D (25-hydroxy)
The main circulating form of vitamin D, reflecting vitamin D from sunlight, food and supplements.
Ferritin
An iron-storage protein whose blood level generally reflects the body's iron stores.
C-Reactive Protein (CRP)
A liver-made protein that rises in response to inflammation, measured with conventional or high-sensitivity assays.
High-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP)
Hemoglobin (Hgb)
The iron-containing protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen around the body.

Guidance through sample collection
Customers praise patient staff who walk them through collection and answer questions, helping them feel more confident about completing a home test correctly.
What people complain about
Collection can be harder than expected
Some customers find the kit difficult to use or cannot collect enough blood despite following the instructions, leading to frustration before any results are available.
Results take longer than expected
Customers describe waiting beyond the expected turnaround and receiving limited updates, particularly frustrating when they planned to use the results for an upcoming appointment or treatment discussion.
Extras complicate the purchase
Some customers find membership charges or repeated add-on offers confusing, saying the checkout experience makes it harder to understand the full cost of the test they wanted.
Stories
Colin Godby
An iron result that led to follow-up care
Despite being physically active, Colin’s first SiPhox test showed unusually high ferritin. That result started a medical follow-up that identified hemochromatosis, allowing him to begin treatment for an issue he had not realized was there.
siphoxhealth.comM. T.
Looking beyond apparently reassuring cholesterol
M. T. was running half-marathons and had been reassured about mildly raised cholesterol. SiPhox results prompted further heart checks, which revealed coronary artery disease; after receiving two stents, the member reported returning to running with improved markers.
siphoxhealth.comWilliam
Turning home bloodwork into an action plan
William used SiPhox to look more closely at his metabolic, cardiovascular and hormone markers. After receiving the results, a one-to-one consultation answered his questions and produced a follow-up plan based on his own data and concerns.
