Reviews

What people praise

Seeing how food affects glucose

Members value seeing how particular meals and daily habits affect their glucose patterns, making dietary changes feel more concrete than following general advice.

Practical nutrition guidance

Reviewers praise nutrition professionals who explain the glucose data and suggest manageable changes suited to their meals, routines and personal goals.

Encouragement to keep going

Members describe supportive, nonjudgmental coaching that helps them keep working on new habits, with encouragement and accountability rather than simply another set of numbers.

What people complain about

Sensors can interrupt tracking

Some members report sensors failing before their expected end date or losing readings, interrupting the continuous picture they hoped to get from the program.

Waiting for replacements or help

Customers describe delays resolving delivery problems or obtaining replacement sensors, extending the time they spend without usable glucose data.

Setup and syncing friction

Some users find connecting sensors and keeping readings flowing into the app takes repeated troubleshooting, making day-to-day tracking less effortless than expected.

Cancellation and commitment disputes

Some customers describe frustration over minimum commitments, cancellation requests or continued charges, particularly when they decide the program is not working for them.

Stories

Angela Cronan

Turning prediabetes results into manageable changes

Angela’s A1c was 6.1 when she started Nutrisense. Working with a dietitian and using her glucose readings, she made small food changes and reported an A1c of 5.6, weight loss and substantially better energy after about three months.

Things to know

  • Check the commitment before choosing a plan.

Early-exit fees can apply to the current term; stopping renewal is different from ending committed payments.

  • Individual nutrition coaching is a separate service.

Coaching may use insurance benefits or self-pay, with late-cancellation and no-show fees.

  • Your health data supports the service and research.

The policy describes processor sharing and your account’s privacy and deletion choices.

  • Check the delivered sensor’s suitability.

The monitoring program is not an emergency glucose-alert service or a substitute for diabetes care.

FAQs

Are sensors included?

Yes. The CGM Program supplies two Stelo sensors monthly, each rated for up to 15 days.

Is a dietitian included?

Optional in-app calls: $39 for 30 minutes or $79 for 60 minutes. The separately marketed nutritionist-video route is $50/session self-pay or insurance-billed. Appointment cancellation within 24 hours or no-show costs $75; these services are separate from the base subscription.

Can I import old readings?

No historical CSV files or past sensor sessions. Nutrisense begins importing data after connection.

Is Estimated A1C a blood test?

No. It is derived from sensor glucose once enough data is collected, not a measured laboratory HbA1c.

Can I download my data?

Download PDF summaries from Nora to share with your clinician.
