Not included
Before you buy
- Check both apps
- Check your exact phone against Lingo’s tested-device list and current Withings requirements. Withings currently requires iOS 18.0 or later; Android compatibility also needs checking.
- Eligibility
- For adults 18+; not for insulin use, problematic hypoglycemia, dialysis or critical illness. Lingo has no alarms and is not an emergency low-glucose monitor.
- Sensor instructions
- Follow current application, imaging and medication guidance. More than 1,000 mg/day of vitamin C can falsely raise readings. Do not change treatment based on readings without clinical advice.

Stories
Claire Maldarelli
Using urine readings as a prompt to revisit daily habits
During a trial of Withings U-Scan, Claire checked readings for hydration, vitamin C and other measures. Occasional changes prompted her to drink more water or eat more vegetables. She also noted that readings sometimes normalized on their own and questioned the value for an otherwise healthy person.
gizmodo.comMike Prospero
Seeing a practical prompt in the first urine readings
During his first days with U-Scan, Mike installed the device and reviewed his readings in the Withings app. The feedback gave him a reminder to drink more water.

$99FAQs
Is this a subscription?
The $89 two-sensor pack is a one-time purchase. Importing Lingo readings into Withings does not require Withings+. Optional paid services and automatic outbound sync have separate subscription terms.
Will the Withings connection be free?
Yes. Withings confirmed that every user can keep importing data from other apps for free. The new-account Withings+ rule applies to automatic export to third-party apps, a different direction of transfer.
Can I use the sensors without connecting Withings?
Set up the sensors in the Lingo app. Connecting your Lingo account adds the Withings view; a Withings scale is not required.
What does Withings+ cost?
Website pricing is $9.95/month or $99.50/year; Apple in-app prices are $9.99/month or $99.99/year. Membership renews automatically. Cancel before renewal; generally no refund for unused time, except as required by law.
Does this include a clinician or glucose AI coach?
A routine personal clinical consultation is not included. Withings+ is a separate optional service.
Can I return the sensors?
The return policy gives 30 days from receipt, with hygiene/seal restrictions, and requires return within 14 days after notice. Another paragraph counts from purchase. Product wording says free returns, while policy says nondefective return postage is yours; confirm before opening.
How is my data handled?
Withings and Abbott process data separately. Connections and AI use need permissions; deleting one account does not erase every connected copy. Retention exceptions apply to billing, support, safety and research records.
Is Glucose Resilience a sensor result?
No. That separate BodyScan 2/Withings+ estimate uses scale-derived measurements, rather than these glucose sensor readings.
